EN5113: Creative Writing Project:

Aims and objectives: The principle aim of the Creative Writing Project is to enable students to undertake a substantial writing project. They should draw on and develop the skills and their knowledge of critical and creative contexts acquired in the first two terms and seek to demonstrate their independence, self-direction and originality in their approach to its completion. The work will reflect the student’s own concerns as they have developed out of an engagement with the taught modules of the course. The form and content of the work produced should demonstrate an understanding of the student’s own practice in relation to existing audiences and publication contexts.
