This course aims to give students broad advanced-level training in the economics of policy evaluation. It combines econometric evaluation methods with applications – from public, labour, development, education and health economics. A significant part of the course will be dedicated to the implementation of such methods in Stata. By doing so, the course will enable students to apply economic and econometric models to evaluate policy interventions. In addition, it will empower students with the skills to work with various real-life data sets, and extend previous scientific work with new insights. Thus, the course aims to prepare students for state-of-the-art empirical work in business or academia.
