19-20 CR1013: Criminal Justice System
Welcome to Criminal Justice!
This course runs throughout your first year, with teaching in the Autumn and Spring terms. It is assessed by coursework in the Spring term and an exam in the Summer term. You will be required to complete a court visit before seminar 6 - please see the instructions on this below.
The course adopts a modular form, taking you on a chronological journey through the criminal justice system. You will study four main topics; 'Policing' and 'Courts' in the Autumn term, followed by 'Prisons' and 'Community' in Spring term.
