This course covers all aspects of sedimentary basins, from their tectonic setting to their sedimentary fills and hydrocarbon systems.

There is a strong emphasis on developing practical, analytical skills based on field work, geophysical analysis, seismic interpretation, basin dynamics, analogue modelling, and the interpretation of gravity, magnetic and remotely sensed data.
