19-20 PR1400: Introduction To Politics & Government
Introduction to Politics and Government is a first year module which introduces you to the academic study of politics, and how different societies make different choices about how they are governed. The course gives you conceptual and analytic tools to understand the nature of politics and particular political institutions.
There are no pre-requisites for this course. The module overlaps with two other first year modules (Classic and Contemporary Readings in Politics and International Relations [PR1520] and Introduction to Research Methods in Politics and International Relations
[PR1000]), but we welcome students who are not taking these modules.
