19-20 PH3920: Stellar Astrophysics

Introductory complete theory of the physics of stars, including formation, evolution and ultimately death. The course uses basic physics such as gravitation, thermodynamics, nuclear reactions and radiation that are applied to the interior of starts. This mainly theoretical course results are compared with simple observational results, like the Hertzsprung-Russell (luminosity-temperature) diagram.
