Aims:
Introduce students to some of the basic mathematics and techniques relevant to undergraduate physics. Develop students’ skills in solving problems.
Learning Outcomes: Ability to solve problems involving one variable (real or complex), to differentiate and integrate simple functions, to use vector algebra and geometry, and to use the common probability distributions.
