This course provides an introduction to the subject of real analysis which underpins calculus. We look at the really simple questions of mathematics such as "What is a number" and discover they are connected with profound theories involving infinite processes. We need to learn the rules for these infinite processes or else we will face mathematical meltdown. We find that even what seems "obvious" needs careful treatment since some "obvious" facts turn out not to be facts at all.
