25th March 2020: 2,500 word essay on oral history in public history (further details in the handbook and to be discussed in class) (50% of final grade)
***Assessment deadline extension. New deadline 15th April***
NB You can submit your essay before the deadline. College is closed on 8th April so if you were to submit an extension request on the day of the deadline you would not learn the outcome of the request until the following Thurs or Fri when College re-opens. Please bear this in mind.

8th May 2020: An interview for a public history audience (not assessed), along with a 2,500 reflective piece on the interview, including a digital copy of the interview to be sent by file transfer, supporting paperwork (interview summary, consent and copyright forms) (50% of final grade). NB The assignment will not be considered complete without the accompanying forms and interview file.

***Covid-19 alternative assessment info***
The alternative assessment for the course, as per previous emails, is an exercise in which you are required to complete a 'funding application' for an oral history project of your own devising. The deadline for this assignment is Friday 22nd May. You MUST submit your application using the template application form on this moodle page. Submissions in any other format will not be marked. (This is simply a replica of the funding landscape. You must always use the funder's form).
