19-20 MA2112: Moving Pictures for Millennials

In this course we prioritise storytelling, creativity, playfulness, sense of achievement and depth. Our philosophy on stimulating creativity is to apply limitations, since that is where the creativity starts to work. We therefore will put limits on time, themes or techniques.

We will also train on getting closer and deeper with our photographs. This will include spending more time to get closer to our subjects, to study them, to discover the relations between it/he/she with their environment etc. This aim will be better served with street photography and social documentary training.
