This course supports the development of the academic skills needed by Psychology students. In term 1 it focuses upon core and advanced academic writing skills. In term 2 it focuses upon employability skills and exam preparation. Keynote talks from leading academics are incorporated to develop wider research understanding. For Single Hons students this course is part of PS1010; attendance, the avoiding plagiarism module, and the research participation scheme are compulsory. For CrimPsych, Liberal Arts, and Visiting students, attendance is expected and the avoiding plagiarism module is compulsory.
