19-20 CE1701: Contemporary Britain: Government and Citizenship

Contemporary Britain courses are designed for visiting students and pitched at first year undergraduate level. The courses aim to introduce these students to a range of issues and concepts relevant to contemporary British society by examining important social, cultural and political themes in recent British history.

At the same time students who have not studied at a university in the UK before have an opportunity to develop the academic study skills relevant to study in either the Arts or in the Social Sciences.

You should be automatically registered for this course if you are a new student within the Schools of Performing and Digial Arts, Humanities, Law and Social Science (only programmes with Philosophy, International Relations, or Politics as a component).  Students from other departments and Schools within the college are welcome to request to be registered for the quiz, but should note that the results of any attempts you take may appear on your formal academic transcript.
